Homes For All

Centacare Evolve Housing has collaborated on an intergenerational art project with the aim to challenge the stigma around people who access social and affordable housing. This project shines a light on the strength of the communities in which we serve and the continued work of the housing sector to address homelessness in the Tasmania. Working with local artist David Adams, Centacare Evolve Housing Tenants along with school students and the wider community are featured in this large scale artwork displayed during Homelessness Week 2023.

Homes For All - Education & Resources

In partnership with Catholic Education, Centacare Evolve Housing will be running information sessions on homelessness and community housing in schools during July and August. We will provide a short presentation and activity to decorate little wooden and paper houses with the students. These houses will then be gathered to be displayed at libraries, councils, events and schools during Homelessness Week. The presentation will include statistic and activities for students to get involved with. Upon request, Centacare Evolve Housing staff will attend schools to deliver these sessions. Catholic Education will also include housing and homelessness in the curriculum for term 3 as a continued learning for grade 5/6 students. Further resources are available below.
